All Bedford residents are encouraged to use the facilities of the town’s three parks. Spend the day connecting with nature at the Mianus River Gorge Preserve
. Spread over 935-acres, this expansive preserve was founded in 1953 and is open seasonally. Similarly, the Guard Hill Preserve
is another great place to escape to the great outdoors. At 76-acres, this nature area might be smaller than Mianus River Gorge Preserve but still offers plenty of hiking trails, horseback accessible trails, and wildlife sightings.
