Lake Waccabuc, Lake Oscaleta, and Lake Rippowam, which are all interconnected and are known as the Three Lakes.

The other two lakes, Lake Oscaleta and Lake Rippowam, are also called twin lakes. There is a home development between Lake Oscaleta and Lake Rippowam called Twin Lakes Village.

Many homes in Lake Oscaleta feature their own private dock providing easy access to swimming fishing, and paddling. Lake Oscaleta is perfect for living year round, or as a country escape just one hour North of New York City.

Just 50 miles north of Manhattan, this historic community draws both celebrated weekenders and those under-the-radar full-timers who appreciate the beauty of the land, the privacy, and the proximity of recreational opportunities

Blue Heron Lake —Bedford

Blue Heron Lake is an exclusive lake community that consists of just 13 houses. There is no vacant land or room for development, making each property a one-of-a-kind treasure.

Mallard Lake —Pound Ridge

Pound Ridge's Mallard Lake is another beautiful lake community in Westchester. Apart from the natural environment and stunning views, Pound Ridge has become a particularly popular place to raise a family, thanks to the several private and public schools, as well as preschools and daycares. Many residents have come up from the city and decided to make Pound Ridge their full-time residences.

The active lake association has many events throughout the year, including weekly events in the summer, and meetings monthly. The club house offers a playground, dock, tennis courts, basketball court, and can be rented for private parties.

Peach Lake — North Salem

Peach Lake is a peaceful yet engaged and caring lake community.  It is located in both Westchester County/North Salem to the south and Putnam County/Southeast to the north, nearing the southeastern border of Connecticut.

The names of three cooperative housing clusters which surround the lake harkens back to the visionary landowners they are named for: Vail, Bloomer and Pietsch, who converted summer residences, many of which were cabins, into what now are mostly year round homes.

There are also two longstanding homeowners associations, Star Ridge Manor and Northern Westchester Country Club that share Peach Lake.

While the focus of the Peach Lake community remains the enjoyment of the lake, there is increased attention being paid to preserve its pristine beauty.

Mohegan Lake —Yorktown

Mohegan Lake residents can enjoy a sandy beach with a roped in swimming area and a diving board, swimming with a lifeguard during the season, a bath house, permanent bathrooms, a children's playground, a sports field, paddle and handball courts.
